Some visitors to this site have asked me how I became involved in the KJV-only issue. When I was first exposed to it and had questions, the pastor
of the church I was attending lent me Gail Riplinger's New Age Bible Versions to read. It was reading this book, along with examining and verifying her claims in detail, that not only convinced me that KJV-onlyism was wrong, but also to actively oppose it. I believe there are so many problems with the book that one could open to almost any random page and find examples of misinformation, misrepresentation, half-truths, faulty reasoning and double standards - so I started opening the book at random pages and writing the following articles:
