Often in examining the KJV-only issue, you will see tables like the following that attempt to show that the newer versions like the NIV are "taking away" the name of Jesus, and replacing it with a pronoun like "he" or "him". These versions are then considered terrible because they are removing the name of Jesus. Some KJV-onlies go as far as saying that Satan is responsible for these removals of the name of Jesus and thus the entire translation, because Satan hates that name. The following table is complete, comparing all verses in the KJV that have "Jesus" where the corresponding verse in the NIV does not have "Jesus" in the verse:
UPDATE - Same tables, but for the NASB instead of the NIV, are now available here.

Such charts are used by KJV-only supporters to "alarm" you that Satan has indeed worked to remove the name of Jesus from the new versions like the NIV. KJV-only supporters pull out these verses, generating charts like the one above, to "prove" their position.
However, they rarely explain that it's not the NIV that's removing
the name "Jesus", but rather the name is missing because:
1. the NIV is following much older manuscripts (up to 1000 years older
than those used for the KJV).
2. the NIV is more of a "dynamic equivalence" translation than the KJV
is, thus many times "Jesus" is replaced with "he" or "him" if the
meaning is not lost.
But, that's not the biggest problem with such charts. If you have seen such charts before, or even used them to support the KJV-only position, what I'm about to show you may shock you. I hope it does. :-)
Such charts give examples of where the KJV has "Jesus" but the NIV doesn't. The logic is that the NIV must have the name of "Jesus" less often than the KJV, and is therefore less reverent or evil in some way, and even that Satan is responsible for the removal because Satan hates the name. However, anyone who would look into the matter for themselves would find that the NASB has "Jesus" just as often as the KJV, and also that the NIV has the name of "Jesus" approximately 300 times MORE often than the KJV does! (give or take a few depending on where you get the numbers from.) Does having "Jesus" show up more often sound like something Satan would do? The logic used by KJV-onlies is that Satan wants to remove the name of "Jesus"!
Don't believe it? That's probably because (if you're KJV-only) you've seen biased charts like those above containing hand-picked verses, while dozen of other verses are ignored. When lies get told enough, they start to seem like the truth. KJV-only authors make charts like those above. Then, KJV-only pastors and supporters read those authors and don't look into it for themselves, spreading the misinformation to their congregations and others. The falsehood just keeps spreading until one hears it from so many different places that it's believed as truth. Well, maybe it's time to make another chart in response, this one showing the verse comparisons that get TOTALLY ignored:

The NIV inspired by Satan? The NIV brings thousands to Christ, helps thousand of others grow in Christ, and has the name of "Jesus" approximately 300 times more often than the KJV! If you thought/think the NIV is inspired by Satan, perhaps you need to read:
